Now we are hitting the high summer months in Valencia the city can feel claustrophobic between the heat, humidity and tourists, which is why most of the locals escape to their second homes in the mountains or near one of the many beaches up and down the coast. There are plenty bars, cafes restaurants to choose from and if you do feel the need to head into the big smoke then you have plenty of options; bus, tram, bike will all get you there in no time at all.
