This is Lemmy's house. Not Lemmy the deceased Motorhead singer but Lemmy, the Rhodesian Ridgeback, the big slobbering hound of the Baskervilles who looks after the family living here and is named after Motorhead's hairy Jack Daniels drinker. Lemmy will guide you around this house on your visit because he now wants to sell it (Unless like me you are a tad allergic in which case he'll wait outside)
Anyway, a diamond in the rough it says in the title and there's a reason for that. You'll need to do a few retouches of the house to take it back to it's former glory but that need is reflected in the price. End terrace, semi detached houses with good sized gardens and pools like this go for around 400k locally and we reckon there's around 10k of work to do to get this back to where it should be. First let's look at the basics and then what needs to be done...
Around 150m2 of house here with four bedrooms, three upstairs and one downstairs currently used as an office and games room, three bathrooms, huge living-dining room, good sized kitchen, garage, hall and a large easy maintenance garden with pool all on a plot of around 300m2. It's a well proportioned and laid out package, perfect for modern living with everything to hand but no excess gardening required and those palm trees apaert from being impressive are the perfect spot for your hammock.
Now what needs doing. You'll want to change a few doors upstairs along with skirting boards and maybe the parquet affected as they were by some water damage, now resolved. One of the bedrooms has some tiles lifting under the parquet which will need relaying. A new paint job wouldn't go amiss up there too. Apart from that the house is ready to go.
It is currently lived in comfortably but the house is too big for the family there now after children have flown the nest for University. Visits are possible in the evenings and weekends only due to work and Lemmy.
