Sagunto

Sagunto is divided into two parts, the main town overlooked by the Roman fort and Puerto de Sagunto where you have the beach and port.

Certain parts of Sagunto are quite "ugly" but the Jewish quarter overlooking the town and the Old Town definitely have a certain charm. The port is similar in that the part around the port is rather scruffy whereas the part around the beach is more modern and the beach itself is a nice place too. Sagunto is served by the railway from Valencia where you can get in 20 minutes.
