This is the follow up piece from our initial post on Monday about your budget for property in Valencia. In that post we talked about the lower budgets and showed the limitations that you had and how it's usually much better to go outside of the city to the surrounding towns to get more for your money. If your lifestyle focus is just city life then you have to compromise more in the property you want to get that lifestyle.
Remember, the lifestyle doesn't refer to your home, it refers to the experience of living, what surrounds you, facilities, amenities, shopping, entertainments and the like. As an example if you want to go to a concert every day and walk there and back then you can do that in Valencia but maybe not so much in Lliria.
Today though we will be covering the price brackets from 500k and up. It's here where we find that you don't need to compromise so much in the city but outside the city you are likely to get something pretty amazing. Yet again though that may depend on how far you want to go outside of the city.
The 500s Price Band
To be honest this is my favourite price band because the comparison here at the moment is a difficult choice. Central Valencia with a classical facade or a whole detached house on a large well set out plot with pool and recalcitrant teenager hideaway. Lets compare.
550k Central Valencia Classic Apartment
So what do you get? A building that is around 150 years old (just look at that amazing stairwell), and a renovated apartment that is around 150sqm, in a neighbourhood where you don’t see apartments come on the market too often, an area where you can feel the history of the city around every corner. (BETWEEN WRITING THIS AT THE WEEKEND AND NOW THIS HAS BEEN RESERVED)
The 550k Villa That Keeps On Giving
Such an interesting property. On the face of it, not a huge house. The main part of the house, the ground floor, has 4 bedrooms and one bathroom, but a small bit of work would easily change this to a 3 and 2 if that was your preference. In excellent condition, large living area and a separate comfortable kitchen. But there's so much more. Go along to the listing and you can find out much much more.
The 600s Price Band
Sometimes in this price band you get the potential of something amazing and sometimes you get the finished article. That may depend on size but it definitely depends on location. So for this price comparison we have two properties at similar prices but do you prefer the potential or the finished article.
679K Modern City Living
If you’re looking for peace and quiet but still want all the conveniences of being in Valencia let us steer you towards the Barrio of Campanar, this large apartment with all Mod Cons, Storage and Parking Space is just a short walk to the Bioparc, Turia Gardens and the Valencian huerto when you need to get your 10,000+ steps on. Loved by the locals who look for comfort, safety and quality of life in a clean modern neighbourhood and away from the livelier touristy parts of the city centre.
690K Huge Town House in Rocafort
For just over 10k more you get four times the space and "potential". Ten Bedrooms, 5 Bathrooms, generous living areas and nooks and spaces on a tasty wedge of M2 with interior patio for soirees and shade set on a corner in the centre of the village. The 700s Price Band
Twice as Nice at 725K
Twice as nice because if you can't be bothered standing up to look at the view then the current owner has thoughtfully put the same view on the wall of the living room. City of Arts and Sciences, new, gym, pool etc... This property has the bling factor in an emblematic modern building.
750K To Forget the Mansion Tax
This is the sort of place that rarely comes up as it's well looked after, lived in properly, in an area people want to be at a reasonable price (For what it is). Definitely worth seeing if you have the funds.

The 800s Price Band
For me this is an easy one as we currently have very little to choose from in the city at 800 and something, in fact as I write just one place so that's the comparison. It's high quality for sure but the houses in this price band are truly something special so we'll show you two.
Living in a Box for 850K
Built in 2024 to a custom brief, this is a proper new-build in a suburb where most properties were built by people who had already made their money elsewhere. We are talking about the San Antonio de Benegeber area, close to the Escorpion Golf Club.
875K But Too Pretty To Pass On
A long way from our usual propertie in the Castellón region but it's really cute so we thought this serves well as a comparison. Here in Artana, a pretty village set in the Peaks of Aragon, neighboured by the larger towns of La Vall D’Uixo, Onda and Burriana and just a 20 minute drive to the nearest beaches we find this magnificent property, straight from a fairytale and built to last, forever and ever and happily ever after.

Hold the front page!! We currently have nothing in this price range in the city so no comparison here. Let's get straight onto the 1 million Euros and up section because let's face it, that's what we all want to see even if we can't quite afford it even with a mortgage.

So just over the million Euro mark in the city.
