After the events of the last few weeks we thought it was time to get back to Valencia Property a little and tell you all about what we do, how we do it and what to expect moving forward. This blog is the longest running continuously posting blog in the Spanish property market without exception and it serves to bring people into looking for somewhere to have a great lifestyle and of course that is Valencia.
Our little blog occupies the space for you between when you decide that it might be a good idea in life to move to Spain and when you just start looking at property online with no context. You need information and that's one thing that property agents and portals mostly miss out on. You cannot make a really informed decision about a place without knowing more about it when you are coming from a different area, country or even continent. Our mission is to give you everything needed to make that informed decision and then to help you find that perfect property.
How do we do that? We bring you information through the blogs we write about everything to do with living in Valencia. Of course we talk about the process of buying a property, the process of financing it, the different areas, the things to bear in mind, what it is like living in Valencia, the cost of living, about modernising properties, the market situation and more but you also get niche little blogs about what to expect will be left in the house when you buy it, issues that you will have when you get here, the best restaurants and cafes, days out and a whole lot more about living here and your future lifestyle. Once we have your form then we start the search, giving you suggestions of areas and places that may work for your budget and requirements and discounting stuff that may look great in photos and description but will not be right for you because we know it doesn't match your requirements. It's the local knowledge that helps here. We know the locations, the areas, what's downstairs, what's around, what's nearby and where these places are. As we always say, if the requirements are clear in the form then it's a lot easier to find the properties that may suit.
How We Do It
Our 25 years plus here have given us a huge network of contacts, information, local knowledge and trust. Others like working with us because they know we are not green around the gills. What To Expect Moving Forward
You can expect full support from us in your property search and purchase and beyond. Despite us being a distributed team (we don't waste money on an office in central Valencia for example) we are the most friendly and professional agency that you will find. We don't need a snazzy office to do the best job for our clients. We have been working remotely since well before it became fashionable due to a little thing called Covid. I'd also dare to say that you won't find more acculmulated knowledge anywhere in the Spanish property market. There are startups around Valencia claiming 30 years experience without a clue of the vagaries of the local market but we think that imitation is the best form of flattery of course. What they cannot imitate is the actual experience of having done this for so long and so often. If you expect the best then talk to us.
We are also continually looking to expand our offerings in terms of properties, services, website and team members. Here are some of our current plans moving forward.
- We are currently planning for new features to be incorporated into the websites to make them easier to navigate for you to find the information that you are looking for more easily. These will likely show up in the New Year but will not be changing the look and feel of the site, we like it as it is.
- We will be adding a blog page for each year starting with 2024 of course so you can find all of the blogs in order there rather than doing a search. (2024 is now done)
- We now have a dedicated client liaison agent for helping you out in the first month after purchase with paperwork and anything you need help with. Before it was more haphazard.
- We also have a Facebook group for our clients who have purchased property in Valencia for ongoing help, information and social contact.
- We are looking to increase our team at Stepping Stone Rentals as it grows and moves forward. We will be looking to get more active on Social Media and the website there.
- We are featuring more and more on international publications and we will let you know as articles are published where we feature.

Property of the Week
Here’s a juicy little number for you today; a fully refurbished duplex located in the heart of the old town on a quiet pedestrian street so close to the Quart towers that if they send anymore cannonballs that way, you may expect some shrapnel wounds.
Electric blinds (oooohhh), dimmable led lighting (aaaaahhhh) and automated plugs (what are they? No idea but sounds sooo fancy) number among the upgrades to this cosy little 2nd floor walk-up. Some of the original features have been retained and to be fair, they have done a very good job with the renovation including the little patio where you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening Voll Damm.
Museums, art galleries, shops, bars, restaurants all on your doorstep here, ok so you don’t have a lift, but it’s only 2 floors so what are you moaning about you lazy so and so? And 63m may sound small, but they’ve done an excellent job with the space here and you won’t need all those heavy winter clothes taking up space when you move here anyway. It’s the Mediterranean baby!
