I had the pleasure of taking photos yesterday at a lovely house in La Eliana and a strange attic in Valencia. There are a couple of pictures here and the rest of them will be up on the Valencia Property page later. Meanwhile some details of the house in La Eliana for sale.
It is a four bedroom house with two bathrooms, totally modernised with a lovely sub tropical garden to the front. Despite its 600m2 plot it seems spacious and has a good sized swimming pool overlooked by 60m2 of covered terraces with the desired arches. Lots of artful decorative touches in the house itself along with a large kitchen and living room. Set just 15 minutes from Valencia and a little over 10 from the airport the house lies in the most sought after town of those surrounding Valencia, a town, La Eliana, with all services to hand and a pretty nifty park too.
Now the other place for sale was in Valencia and was a totally different kettle of fish. An attic flat but without terrace it lies in the Puerta de la Mar overlooking the Arco de Triunfo. It measures around 150m2 and has five rooms and two potential bathrooms. I say potential because I haven't got a clue what the layout of the flat was before but there are three small baths or extremely large sinks in three of the rooms. I am going to assume one was a kitchen.
Set in a stylish building at the end of Calle Colón, the most expensive street in Valencia the flat is interesting for its possibilities but best of all it has this wonderful set of keys to open the front door.
Both worth looking at but for very different reasons if you are moving to Spain and more specifically moving to Valencia then these are just two of the properties that you may want to consider.
