About seven years ago we sold a property to a client for around 200k Euros. The property has 8000m2 of land and has two houses and is situated near to Lliria.
Last week I noticed it was for sale through another agent at 199k. I got in touch and found that it had been reduced from 260k recently and was considered to be a great bargain now as it lies just twenty minutes from Valencia and relatively near to town. So I went up and was surprised at what I found. The house is much larger than I remember it and although very little modernisation has taken place this is actually good as it retains the original features that distinguish an old Spanish finca for sale.. It does however have central heating, very important in old fincas and the pool area has been fenced off as the pool is very deep, not for non swimmers, and the owners had small children.
So anyway here are a couple of pictures for you to look at. (The pictures aren't actually that good and don't do the house justice at all but imagine lots of space and excellent possibilities for renovation) Is there a downside? Yes of course. Work needs to be done and it lies close to the CV35 motorway but many people actually prefer not to be in the middle of nowhere. What's the upside? Huge amounts of space, room to put your own seal on it, a great house in a really nice area, all services already fitted, potential for developing a small business.
