Lanzarote Property Bargains

In the first of our series looking at Spanish Property Bargains we are delighted to take you to Lanzarote. Lanzarote is the most Eastern of The Canary islands, and is just 72 miles from The Saharan Coast of Africa. The island is unspoilt, with low rise buildings, no billboards, and a dramatic, volcanic landscape.

The property market is steady and mature, with new builds strictly limited, and as a result property values have avoided the “boom and bust” cycle so prevalent in Northern Europe. Despite that, there are some amazing bargains to be had currently and local agent Estupendo has selected three for us to look at: One Bedroom Apartment - €45,000

This was once a shop, but has been converted into a small apartment on the fabulous Las Coronas complex, which has private access to the beach and promenade, two fabulous swimming pools and a fully equipped gymnasium.

Located in the resort of Costa Teguise, the apartment is being sold fully furnished, and even with a rent to buy option.

Two Apartments - €175,000

This consists of a two bedroom and a one bedroom apartment on the La Concha complex in Puerto del Carmen. Both are currently rented and bringing in an income of €1000 a month. There are several possibilities here: You could live in one and rent out the other, keep them both rented or knock them together to create a 3 bedroom villa.

View from the house and terraces are amazing, with the beaches of Papagayo directly in front, and the island of Fuerteventura in the distance.
