Finally It Rained (And That Stopped The Fires)

On Friday it rained in Valencia finally. As I have said before it was seven or eight months since the last time it rained so it was well overdue. However, when seven months rain falls in one night it can cause a few problems. Take a look at my Facebook profile to see one of the effects of the storm in Valencia, a great photo that appeared in the paper is currently my timeline background picture. Two weird things happened though. Firstly I missed a call from a client. I found out two days later what he was ringing about. He was at the airport that had been closed as the water inundated the terminal and car park. He had taken two hours to get to the airport from Montroy, normally a 25 minute drive, and he was going to take two and a half hours more to return home the highlights of which included his car being hit by a floating wheelie bin just off the closed down A7 motorway. Secondly, somehow I have some photos on my photostream of somebody's property that is flooded out. I don't know how they got there, it wasn't my photo but it has appeared on my phone. I have checked my messages and it doesn't appear there, I have checked WhatsApp and also no sign there. So the mystery is where did the photos come from and how did they get there. So I thought I would put them in here and see if you recognise these legs and this floor. I certainly don't.
Do You Recognise These Legs
On the plus side the floods have probably put an end to the spate of fires that were hitting the Valencia region last week. There were nine fires within a 40km radius of me last week. So with the crisis, the fires and the floods we are just waiting now for the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse to come trotting up and asking what's new (I believe the answer is "Microchip technology)
