Picture of Lliria Villa With Scope For Improvement
At times property descriptions gloss over the current state of a property describing it as "tired" or "in need of attention". This property in Lliria could easily be described as Rip Van Winkle and in need of the attention that is required by a hyperactive 6 year old maxxed out on E-Numbers and that yellow stuff they used to put into the breadcrumbs on fish fingers.

Let's get the bad out of the way first, it has been a dumping ground for machinery and other stuff for some time, the gardens could hide new forms of life unknown to modern science and the concept of windows seems to have been ignored in the upper level along with that newfangled invention of lightbulbs giving off more than 6 amps. Add to this a general feeling of somewhere you could easily enjoy a game of paintball as there are so many places to hide and you might think to pass on this one and move on.

However, let me put some hope into your property search, let's look at the good.

Location: Very near to the large town of Lliria, walking distance into town, and just 25 minutes away from Valencia city. It's at the end of an untarmacced cul-de-sac so very quiet too.

Size: Two floors totalling around 200m2. Five bedrooms and two bathrooms with a huge open plan living room and rustic style kitchen. Also an excellent large front terrace where the only problem is the current view of the mess that is the garden.

The Pool: The pool is large and is overlooked by a wooden pergola with an excellent cubby hole above for the kids to camp out or have as a games room far away rom the house.

The Plot: Actually, it's two plots, the house is on one and the pool on the other. You potentially could separate them in future once urbanised and sell off half while keeping the other or even construct a second house for family or renting out. Not yet though. This can only be done after the area is urbanised and that will not happen any time soon.

The Potential: This is not just a case of a quick spruce up, putting some thought into this house could make it superb. But it does need a lot of thought and a certain amount of TLC, actually more TLC than an underfed dog dumped at the side of the road in the pouring rain in the badlands of North Dakota. It might actually be the first house to suffer for a time from PTSD. But it could be great again.
