We Are Back, We Are Busy and Valencia Is Awesome

It's been a month almost since the last post because three days after it I went on holiday. Barcelona, Nimes, Avignon, Paris, Shrewsbury and Asturias were seen and pictured and now I am back and ... boy did I have to hit the ground running. Lots of clients heaps of enquiries, amazing social media connections, huge new business opportunities coming up and the dire need to get even more properties onto the books to satisfy demand. Whilst away a lot of property was taken off the market as it was sold. The number of times I have been told "Está vendido" (It's sold) since I got back is amazing and quite annoying because when you are trying to set up visits for clients for properties that were available when they enquired and now they are not is frustrating not only for me but also the clients too of course. However the biggest frustration at the moment is the answer to the question "can we view the property tomorrow?" which is invariably "No" The reason is simple, Spain continues to be on holiday at the moment and owners of properties that are notionally for sale are not here to show them, have left no contingency plans for relatives or friends to hold the keys and because they have so many agents promoting the properties they do not give out keys to everyone. The owner has to be there of course. Finally there is another annoying issue with certain properties especially at the height of the tourist season, many of them are rented out at the moment and therefore it is impossible to take a look at them because the tenants are not interested in nosey estate agents coming to look at a property whilst they are on holiday. So what is happening in the long and sultry Valencian summer? Just a sample below in the video as people gather in the squares, parks and bridges of the city to entertain themselves.
