Paramount Studios have agreed in principle to build Europe's largest theme park in Murcia and it should be ready in two years from when they start. See the story here. (Update Sept 14th 2010. Now Confirmed Planning in Place)
What does this mean? 20000 jobs created in construction and the park itself. A huge regeneration of the area. An all year round attraction to complement the already existing golf resorts. More flights into the area and a new concentration of tour companies developing products for the Murcia region.
