Last week I put up a Spanish bank repossession property on the Valencia Property site in Lliria. Have a look here. Anyway the point is that I had someone go and see it as they were looking for Houses for sale in Spain that needed modernising and they thought they would have a think about it. I also had somebody flying out to see it next Friday. Unfortunately it is now sold. The bank accepted an offer of 95000 Euros on it when their asking price was 124000 Euros. (By the way let me just say it wasn't the most beautiful place in the World as you can see but it was huge and had potential.)
So here is a lesson. If you go and see a Spanish repossessed property through the bank be prepared to put in offers because the banks will seriously look at them. Secondly, make the decision quickly. Remember the deal available on this place, 90% financed and nothing to pay for three years. Thirdly, have a good look around because bargains are available if you are ready to buy.
You need your ducks in a row of course, NIE number got, deposit ready, paperwork available for finance options and you must be ready to go.
